A favourite spot, just a couple of minutes’ walk from our front door, is the Esplanade. This grand Victorian promenade offers elevated views over the South Bay beach, and as the sun begins to lower in the sky, the sea reflects shades of amber, rose and gold. Find a bench, breathe in the sea air, and simply let the view wash over you. It’s a lovely way to end the day, particularly after a leisurely dinner or an afternoon exploring the local area.
